Andrea Illán nació en Alicante en 1982. Comenzó su carrera de Bellas Artes en el 2000 en la universidad Miguel Hernandez, en un pueblo de Alicante llamado Altea. En el 2002 se transladó a Madrid donde continuó sus estudios en la universidad Complutense, especializándose en la rama de fotografía y audiovisuales. En el 2006 finalizó la carrera en Estocolmo, en The Royal University of Fine Arts (MEJAN) con una Beca Erasmus. Ese mismo año se muda a Nueva York para continuar sus estudios de fotografía en el International Center of Photography (ICP). Actualmente reside en Madrid y trabaja como freelance.

 

Andrea Illan was born in Alicante in 1982. In 2000 she started her degree in fine arts at the Miguel Hernandez University in Altea. In 2002 she moved to Madrid where she continued her studies in the Complutense University, taking majors in photography and digital video. She finished in 2006 in The Royal University of Fine Arts in Stockholm. That same year she goes of to New York to continue learning photography at the International Photography Center (ICP). Andrea lives in Madrid and works as a freelance photographer.
